Join New York Soccer Club’s Tryouts  for a chance to train with elite coaches, showcase your skills, and take the next step in your soccer journey. These sessions serve as an entry point into NYSC’s player development pathway, including MLS NEXT and Girls Academy teams—the highest levels of youth soccer in the U.S. Open to boys and girls (2019-2007 birth years), with limited spots available.

Boys Tryouts

New York Soccer Club invites competitive players to attend our upcoming MLS NEXT Tryouts. These sessions provide an opportunity for top-level players to showcase their ability and be evaluated by NYSC’s MLS NEXT coaching staff within one of the nation’s premier youth development environments.

MLS NEXT is the highest level of boys’ youth soccer in the United States, and these tryouts are designed to identify players who demonstrate strong technical ability, tactical understanding, athleticism, and a commitment to high-level development.

New York Soccer Club invites players to attend our upcoming Girls Academy Tryouts. These sessions provide an opportunity for players to showcase their ability and be evaluated by NYSC’s Girls Academy coaching staff within a professional and competitive tryout environment.

The NYSC Girls Academy pathway is designed to develop committed and talented players through high-level training, competition, and long-term development standards. These tryouts aim to identify players who demonstrate strong technical ability, tactical understanding, athleticism, and a desire to compete at the highest level.

Tryout Fields

FAQs

Do I need to attend all the tryouts listed for my age/gender?

Yes, you should attend all scheduled tryouts unless otherwise notified by an NYSC Director.

Proper soccer attire including shinguards, shoes suitable for the playing surface, ball, water, and any personal medical supplies you may need.

Parents/guardians may walk their player to the check-in area, but may not enter the playing field. The field is designated for coaches and players only. Park vehicles in designated parking spots (no standing vehicles near pedestrian traffic) and walk to check-in area. *Players 12 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult to drop-off/pick-up area.

After participating in the tryout, each player will be notified with a decision via email from an NYSC coaching director. Please allow for up to one week after the final tryout date before the communication is sent.

In the case of inclement weather, NYSC will notify trialists via email of a cancellation, postponement, or rescheduled tryout date.
