NEW YORK SOCCER CLUB (NYSC)
Founded in 2009, New York Soccer Club is a youth and amateur soccer club based in Westchester County, NY, USA. New York Soccer Club is a member of MLS Next and Girls Academy League.
New York Soccer Club is the only Metro area NY boys and girls member of the MLS Next and Girls Academy League.
NYSC has promoted nearly 30 boys and girls in the last two years to professional academies (NYCFC, Red Bulls, etc.) and youth national teams (USA, Argentina, Romania, Turkey, Albania etc.) in addition to numerous placements at top college programs including Stanford, Penn State, Florida, Pitt, Bucknell, Harvard, Princeton, Clemson, Georgetown, MIT, Yale, Northwestern, Boston College, Amherst, Tufts, Williams, Columbia, Cornell, and Penn.

Pursue the highest standard in youth development by providing the best possible environment for player growth, enjoyment and character development within a unified and cohesive club structure.
NYSC TEAMS
NYSC currently has over 40 boys and girls, youth teams, competing in the MLS Next league, Girls Academy League, EDP, and NYCFC-affiliate leagues. NYSC teams compete on the state, regional, and national levels for league and tournament play.
NYSC PHILOSOPHY
NYSC Culture, Style of Play, Philosophy and Identity - NYSC has a defined style of play and coaching that sets it apart from many soccer clubs. The club is known for a very particular attractive style of play and progressive possession principles that includes dominating possession, creating scoring chances, playing on the ground and through the lines, as well as excellence in coaching.
At NYSC we implement a possession-based attacking system. We teach a progressive possession philosophy that focuses on playing out of the back, playing through the lines, and creating and finish scoring chances. In the defensive phase, we want to win the ball back as quickly as possible and defending in an organized way.
NYSC CLUB CULTURE AND IDENTITY
NYSC club culture and identity are directly connected to our overarching club style of play and coach effectiveness. At NYSC we obsess over playing an attractive style of play that intends on dominating possession, creating scoring chances, playing on the ground and thru the lines.
Our club culture also dictates that coaches perform at a high level in the way they prepare and execute lesson plans, with a huge emphasis on player and team development. NYSC players know the level of commitment of the coaches to their development based on how much feedback and care they receive on an individual basis.
NYSC CORE VALUES
NYSC Core Values are an integral part of our club, they set the standard for behavior and performance. Players and Coaches are asked to learn and live the Core Values to help them become better players and better people.

Mutual respect forms the basis of soccer. We hold in high esteem our sport, it’s values and traditions and always conduct ourselves with honesty and integrity. We earn the respect of others in the way we behave and respect all others that we come into contact with; our teammates, our coaches, our opponents, supporters and the referees. We value the facilities we use and treat each with consideration.
TEAM WORK
We welcome all new team members and include all. We believe in each other’s ability and expertise and work together to bring out the best in each other. We play selflessly: working for the team, not for ourselves alone.
AMBITION
We know that dreams are to be achieved. We actively pursue ever-higher goals and challenge ourselves to be better every day. We encourage our players to play without fear, to take risks and learn from honest mistakes.
