Alyssa Francese has been elevated to join the management team as Girls Assistant Zone 1 Director

With great pride NYSC announces that Alyssa Francese has been promoted to join the management team as Girls Assistant Zone 1 Director.

Alyssa first joined NYSC as a U13 player. Alyssa led the 98’ team with goals every season until she graduated high school to attend Stony Brook University, a Division 1 soccer school. Alyssa had a stellar college career at Stony Brook University. She proceeded to lead the Women’s soccer team in goals, finishing with 43 goals for her career.

While at Stony Brook, Alyssa began her coaching journey with local Long Island travel teams. Coaching reinforced her love for the game after she was done playing and wanted to continue to reach for higher levels of coaching. In November of 2021 Alyssa moved back home from college, seeking coaching opportunities. She was hired in February 2022 by NYSC, her youth club to coach two Zone 1 teams.

Since joining NYSC, Alyssa has distinguished herself as a highly knowledgeable and motivated coach. She has helped lead the 2014 and 2013 Girl’s teams over the last 3 years to successful seasons while developing each player at the same time. In her time at NYSC Alyssa has also progressed her USSF licensing, completing her C license in 2023. Alyssa intends on applying for the USSF B in late 2024.

Her knowledge and expertise will be integral in helping lead the Zone 1 Girls program!
