Ken Pollard U12 Boys, U14 Boys
Ken has had quality playing and coaching experience at all levels of the game. In 11 seasons of playing and coaching in collegiate soccer Ken has been involved in 11 NCAA tournaments, including 6 final fours, winning 4 National Championships. Ken has also worked at the professional level with the former New York Metrostars (now Red Bulls) of MLS and with the Philadelphia Charge of the former WUSA. Ken has international experience from representing his country at the under 18 level and has a bronze medal from working with the under 19 women’s national team at the 2004 world cup. Ken first obtained his USSF ‘A’ licence in 1999, holds a masters degree in exercise science and is a certified personal trainer and wellness coach.
Paul Brooks U13 Boys, U15 Boys Blue
Paul Brooks was Head Coach of Suny Purchase Mens Soccer Team from 2008 – 2010. Paul has coached premier teams since 2004 and is an accomplished trainer and developer of youth players. Prior to coaching Paul won 2 National Championships at Southern Connecticut and then went on to play professionally with New England Revolution from 2000 to 2002 and Belenesse in Portugal.
Christian Gonzalez U13 Girls
Christian has worked in the local soccer community for the last 13 years. He was the Head Coach of the men’s Mercy College team for four years, reaching the playoffs three consecutive years and winning a NYCAC conference title. Christian worked for the ENYSA ODP program as a head coach and the girls program head for the last 3 years. His longest coaching assignment was with FC Westchester where he served as a head coach for 12 years. In the first three years of the USSF Development Academy he led the U18 team to consecutive playoff appearances. After Graduating from Fordham University he went to play professionally for the NY Fever and Wilmington Hammerheads of the USISL. He currently holds an “A” license from the USSF.
Stuart Smith U12 Girls
Stuart developed his passion for football playing from an early age on the East coast of England. He went on to represent the University of Gloucestershire before moving to the United States in 2001 to pursue a career in professional coaching. Stuart has progressed through the five levels of the NSCAA education program to attain the Premier Diploma. He also holds the NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma and continues to further his education. Stuart has 10 years of coaching experience with Travel, Premier and High School teams and 7 years as a Director of Coaching.
Guilermo Valancia Goalkeeping
Memo has taken his depth of playing experience at the highest levels, Columbia U20 National Goalkeeper, and professional Clubs in Columbia and the USA and applied this to his coaching career,. Since 2000 Memo has been providing specialist goalkeeping coaching to young players at the premier level of the game. Mmeo hold a UUSF ‘B’ licence and USSF goalkeeping License.
