Center of Excellence

Having a program compiled with help from some of the biggest soccer clubs in Europe and South America, shows why the Inside Soccer Center of Excellence currently leads the way in both game education and player development.

Players

Our Centers cater for boys and girls of all ability-levels and provide the exact training, support and guidance needed by young players between the ages of 9 – 12 years old to further their soccer hopes and ambitions.

We do not run teams but instead look to develop the individual player by giving them the skills, techniques and capabilities that will make them valuable assets for the team of their choice.

Coaching

Jeff Bookman (currently Head of International Youth Technical Development at Chelsea Football Club) and Javier Perez (a former Youth Development Officer at Real Madrid and now advisor to the USSF) oversee the program.  New York Soccer Club is able to leverage the experience and expertise of the INSIDE SOCCER quality and association with some of the best professional clubs around the world.

Program

An 8 week program packed with fun, innovative, individual & small group practices and games, delivered by a team of experienced, qualified coaches in a safe, learning environment.  Unlike most team practices this focuses on individual player development and advanced skills.

An additional feature of our course is a homework program that allows the parents to be part of the development process and which also gives some responsibility to the player for their own learning. Put simply, the more they practice the better player they will become, and we are there every step of the way to help, encourage and support either on-field or online.

At the end of the course each player receives written feedback on their strengths plus an action plan as to how they might continue their development.

These formative years are very important in the growth and maturity of children as they form precious windows of opportunity for young players to develop technically, physically, socially and mentally. Our program is designed to impact on all of these areas.

Choosing who to trust to develop young children when they are just finding their soccer feet is not an easy decision. However, we believe that with input from some of the biggest clubs in the world and the support of cutting edge technology on www.insidesoccer.com, our Centers are at the forefront of the modern trends in soccer education and player development.•
