Programs

New York Soccer club was set up from the start to bring the most innovative and successful learning from the top international academies to a US youth soccer program.  Although some of the principles adopted by the Club may be seen to some as non-conformist and contrary to the practices adopted within the US, that could be considered as a true statement here.  However, in global standards where young players are being developed for the rigorous demands of professional soccer, NYSC’s programs and curriculums take the most advanced techniques and processes for developing players as the basis of our own program.

Some of the key principles NYSC incorporates into our programs include:

  • Teaching players from a very young age the correct techniques of all facets of the game.
  • Developing players to think in a game situation, especially while under pressure, view problems and find solutions, all in a split second.
  • Preparing players for longevity in the game, including physical development and associated mental and psychological challenges.
  • Ensuring the development of the individual, above that of the player, within a team and club context.

While New York Soccer Club has learned from the top European and South American academies, we as a US club have refined our programs to anticipate our specific market needs.  This in many ways is rather unique within the US youth game.  It is no coincidence that you will find us placing a significant focus on an individuals academics and ensuring that they are best positioned to achieve their own goals, beyond those on the soccer field.

New York Soccer Club strives to be the best youth soccer program in the USA in 5 years.
