Gryphon Field Rules

  1. No spectators are allowed inside the fenced in area. All spectators should be positioned outside the fence, on the side opposite the benches. This rule includes practices and games.
  2. If there is a Holy Child team using the field, please instruct your group not to enter the fenced in area, until the Holy Child teams leave the field.
  3. There are no pets allowed on the field.
  4. No gum chewing allowed on the field.
  5. No stakes can be driven into the field.
  6. The goals that are stationed on the field are the property of Holy Child and should not be altered in anyway.
  7. Soccer goals
    1. For the spring season, the soccer goals will be stored along the fence, on the Westchester Avenue side of the field. Both goals should be stored on far end of the field, farthest from the parking lot.
    2. For the fall season, the soccer goals will be stored along the fence, on the Westchester Avenue side of the field. One goal should be placed adjacent to each bench area.
    3. The weighted bags should be used to secure the goals.
    4. Please disengage the wheels, after moving them.
  8. Lacrosse Goals
    1. The shooting jacket must stay on the goal.
    2. The weighted bags should be used to secure the goals.
    3. The lacrosse goals should be stored on the Westchester Avenue side of the fence.
  9. No colored drinks of any kind are permitted on the field. This includes Gatorade, PowerAde, juice, coffee, etc. This rule applies to the coaches as well.
  10. When you are finished with the water, please turn it off.
  11. When you are finished with your usage of the field, please pick up all of the trash.
